Одним із важливих елементів конструкції холодильного обладнання із системою No Frost є пристрій,
необхідний для управління таймером відтавання і розморожуванням випарника. Це теплове реле із
вбудованим термозапобіжником. Його завданням є контроль процесу відтавання випарника та захист
електричного ланцюга від короткого замикання й перевищення допустимої величини струму.

Принцип дії заснований на роботі біметалевої пластини, яка здійснює замикання та розмикання контактів
ланцюга за певних умов. Вбудований термозапобіжник являє собою плавку вставку, яка розриває ланцюг
за умови перевищення максимально допустимої температури. У більшості випадків всі зазначені елементи
укладені в корпус із полімеру та залиті компаундом.

Також як датчики температури використовуються терморезистори, через які з модуля управління проходить
електричний сигнал. При зміні температури опір датчика змінюється, на що модуль реагує відповідно.

При аварійному спрацюванні датчик (теплове реле) PTR103-MK не ремонтується та замінюється на новий.
